July 25, 2024 – Amazon Prime Video and the NBA have announced a groundbreaking 11-year media rights agreement that will see Prime Video become the exclusive streaming platform for 66 regular-season NBA games starting with the 2025-26 season.

This landmark deal also includes coverage of the Emirates NBA Cup, NBA Playoffs, and both regular and postseason WNBA games beginning in 2026.

Prime Video’s NBA coverage will feature an opening-week doubleheader, a new Black Friday game, and all games from the Knockout Rounds of the Emirates NBA Cup, including the tournament’s Semifinals and Finals.

Additionally, Prime Video will have exclusive coverage of the postseason SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament, first- and second-round playoff games, and Conference Finals for six of the 11 years of the deal.

The streaming service will also offer an expanded package of games in select territories such as Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. This includes at least 20 additional primetime regular-season games each year, a Conference Finals series annually, and the NBA Finals in six of the 11 years.

Prime Video Channels will become the strategic partner and global destination for NBA League Pass, the NBA’s subscription service for live and on-demand game streaming, both in the U.S. and internationally.
